I disagree with Ben’s take to get him out at 90 pitches in 6 innings lest a 7th inning jam spoil anything.  This is his workshop to hone feel as long as the outs keep coming.

I just got back from the gym ........ I briefly caught a glimpse of the score before it went to a commercial in between innings. It looked like it said, lBAL - 0 / NYM - 1.

So I thought to myself, "Oh man. We've got good pitching, but no offense. Let's get some runs."

I’m a big fan of an early hook, but with a 91 lead, and only 84 pictures I’m happy to let John finish the inning.
