Another series W. Had Trout not hit that leadoff homer off GR in Game 2, then I think we sweep them. That HR got in GR’a head. This team sure is fun to watch. Never out of it. Job well done. On to the next one. Much appreciation for whoever does these series posts each time. -

I know that you know this but they are not competing with one another. We can appreciate one without trashing the other. Because we will need both of them to be great if this franchise wants to reach its ceiling. Gunnar is on the fast track to his ascent while Holliday is at the bottom/beginning of his climb. They will form the best up the middle duo in the game in time and hopefully it will last for at least a decade. -

Mullins might be the most likely to extended first. CF is about as thin as C is across baseball. EBJ is also struggling a bit in Aberdeen. Mullins is somehow a bit underrated it feels. Crazy to think that our GG is underrated. -

Gunnar. His bat is Elite. He’s on pace for about a 54HR/33 SB season right now. Machado was the better defender at 3B, but Manny could never hold down SS with consistency the way Gunnar has.
