I always though Arrieta got pretty high in the rankings? I guess the highest he got was 2009 at 36. https://www.mlb.com/news/2009-top-50-mlb-prospects-list-c301611616. Man we had 4 guys in the top 50 then. 

That was our strongest farm system in a very long time, and stronger than any since then,  until now.   Remember, we had 9 players debut in the majors in 2009.   Bergesen, Berken, Hernandez, Matusz, Reimold, Tillman, Turner, Uehara (not a minor leaguer), Wieters.  We still had Arrieta and Britton even after those graduations.

We all hope the Orioles get more WAR out of the current crop. Fingers crossed.

Obviously it wasn’t all for the Orioles but that group combined for 82.8 rWAR. 30 of it went to (is going to) Justin Turner with 18+ to Wieters and 13+ to Uehara.

I definitely meant for the Orioles. Turner, Arrieta, etc., are salt in the wound.
