Too many pitches in the middle of the plate for Wells.  He was just off today.  Now the runner Sevrino didn't get in from 3rd with 1 out looms large.

Got it. But *now* we need Santander's bat in the lineup, if we get that far. (He's up fifth in the bottom of the inning.)
