Roster Moves:  Ramon Urias on the 10 day IL, and Cesar Valdez DFA'd.   Konner Wade added back to the 40 man roster in Valdez's place and recalled from Norfolk.  Jahmai Jones also recalled from Norfolk.  In a procedural move that does not affect the 28 man game roster, recent 40 man roster pickup Joey Krehbiel had to be either put on the team or optioned to Norfolk, and he was optioned to Norfolk.   Urias played yesterday, so he would not be eligible to come off the IL until Saturday, October 2, the next to the last day of the season in Toronto.

When I turn up the volume and listen to the announcers, I am reminded why I turned down the volume. They don’t really contribute anything and it’s easier and more enjoyable to just follow along without sound.

However, I must confess that I am enjoying the New York-Texas Game more. The Rangers are winning three to nothing and the Yankees are playing without any inspiration at all, and I’m sure the people at pinstripe Alley are going berserk.
