I'll never forget getting no-hit by Clay Buchholz in his second MLB start.

But TBH over the years the Orioles have had their fair share of mediocre call-ups who did great in their first starts (sometimes first several starts). Off the top of my head, Mike Wright, Josh Towers, Chris Waters, and Travis Driskill. According to the Yankees' broadcast chit-chat, Sears seems to be considered a better prospect than any of those.
