Before the 3 batter rule, it would have been a no-brainer to bring in Perez to face the lefty Kepler.

But now, whoever you bring in, is pretty much who you are counting on to get 3 outs.   So that makes the Perez/Tate decision much more difficult (and I guess leaving Krehbiel in is not out of the question either).
