If you don’t think having Urias at third and Henderson at second improves the defense, I don’t know what to tell you.

Stowers hit lefties well in the minors and frankly mckenna has hit better then Aguilar this year, if you wanted to pinch hit. You don’t need to pinch hit to make the defensive substitution though.

That's why I said "it is clear they value Odors defense bigtime".  That has been shown over and over again.  I don't necessarily value it quite as much, but obviously they do.

Good point in McKenna...he is killing lefties this year.  But I think they specifically acquired Aguilar to primarily DH/1B occasionally vs LH starters and cone off the bench to pinch hit vs LH relievers, and that's what they're going to do with him.

He bends down to get dirt on his hand after every pitch, and sometimes multiple times. He’s done that ever since I started watching him. He’s also very cognizant of the pitch clock and moves really quickly from pitch to pitch.

Good observations!

Well, I mean it might’ve been obvious things but you’d said he looked squirrelly and I was trying to say he was just being his normal self. 😉

Yes, it helped me to understand what was going on with him.
