This feels like one of those games where the offense does nothing all game then in the 8th/9th inning they get something going just to come up a run or 2 short

Watkins is a spot starter long reliever type but the Orioles offense gives him little or no help about every start.

It’s not a big surprise that Watkins stinks. But the offense has been putrid too. 

Still not sure what the Mateo half assing it down the line was all about, but it was noticeable.

Might as well the offense is not showing any signs of life and I'd love to sweep the Blue Jays tomorrow, which might be possible if the bullpen pitchers that matter aren't used today.

IIRC, Mountcastle commented after a recent Sunday loss that it's hard to see the ball against the Camden Yards center field backdrop on bright, sunny days.

I don't know what other color they could paint the backdrop to make the ball easier to see.  Maybe the Orioles ought to resurrect the old Charlie Finley idea of using orange baseballs.
