Jackson Holliday Officially Top Prospect in Baseball

Per MLB Pipeline, Jackson Holliday is now ranked the top prospect in all of baseball. So that is 3 years in a row that Mike Elias and all of his team members in the front have been able to give the Orioles the top prospect in baseball.

Colten Cowser is ranked 15th best prospect in baseball right now.

I’d have a hard time putting anyone ahead of De La Cruz until he loses prospect status in July.

Agreed. It’s hard to put anyone over Eury Perez either. 20 years old and has a 1.34 ERA, with 54 Ks in 47 IP in MLB.

True.  He’s about 2 days away from no longer being prospect-eligible.

It looks like Cowser will be 12th/13th in a few weeks just due to graduation.  They probably won't do a full re-rank until after the draft.  But what's really the difference in being a top 10 prospect or top 15?  Basallo seems like he's the next closest to popping up on some lists.
