Ok still pitching a shutout thanks to good defense, and it's a new inning where the Orioles are up to bat. Things are gping good so far.

He'd be such a great weapon if he could just be close to average with the bat.   With his speed and glove he doesn't have to have a huge .OPS to be valuable.  I'd be content with a consistent. 700ish, and happy with. 750ish.  But I just don't see that as possible regularly.

It would definitely have to be a pitcher. You don't want an offensive player putting up a 0. 

That's similar to why I have a pet peeve against callinf the Orioles "O's". An O looks just like a zero. And a zero in English has the connotation of being a nothing or a nobody. In sports it has the connotation of not scoring. This is why I don't like to call the Orioles "O's"
