Orioles can't call up Hernandez or Krehbiel without DFAing someone first. And then someone emse has to be DFAed beings Voth going to return off the IL at some point.

The biggest stat that jumps out to me is the 8 walks O's pitchers gave up.  Plus Irvin's HBP.  The O's have been pretty good about limiting walks this year but not tonight.  Good teams will pound you for that.

Here is the deal. Maybe I’m wrong but Gillaspie is really the only option to come up. Rom pitched tonight. Everyone else hasn’t been down long enough.
