Wednesday afternoon July 19: Orioles try to avoid first sweep in 14+ months vs Dodgers

Watching CLE-PIT while waiting, and the athletic Andres Gimenez dragged a beautiful bunt up 1B side between Ji-Man Choi and Rich Hill, and age 43 Hill's reaction was about like you might expect.

Rich Hill is one of the guys who signed basically the Kyle Gibson deal this past offseason, and like his AL counterpart Michael Lorenzen is maybe Plan D for a lot of people.

If our talent and money constraints are super bad, Rich Hill isn't unimaginable as an August Oriole.

If Scherzer and Verlander have very few falls to waste at this moment in their careers, I don't even know how to classify Hill.

I can't remember a season with so many rain delays.

Granted this one seemed to have been preventable.  But still, it's obnoxious.

I think we went the first two months with no rain delays which was the longest start of season without a delay.  We have been trying to catchup though the last month.

My grass looked like late July in June.
