In my mind that may be a bit too much to give up if you're including Wells in the package.  But the thing is the White Sox are under no pressure to trade Cease since he's not a free agent until 2026.  Maybe that package could get it done even if feels a bit like an overpay.

No chance I include Wells too.  Some of these proposals are nuts.  They are more than we got for Bedard and everyone knew that was a fleecing when it happened.
