Settling in to watch Rays / Twins.

In 5 days, it's *possible* we could be up by 8 games over the 2nd place Rays, or in 2nd place, 2 games behind the Rays.

Of course, the likely outcome is somewhere in-between.

Time to buckle up, things are getting interesting. Kind of feels like the first round of the playoffs.

During the time I was writing this post, the Twins just went back to back, Rays lead now half, 4-2. Perhaps I should continue writing posts......

TB manager pulled his starter at 80 pitchers and brought in the lefty to face Kepler, who tripled in two runs. That didn't work out as expected.

Jax blows the hold in the 9th. Rays up 5-4 on a Randy A. HR.

We were wrong to expect much from the Twins in this series. They have the AL Central in the bag, and have nothing to play for. Just cruising and trying to stay healthy for the playoffs.

The Orioles will have to take care of TB themselves, beginning tomorrow.

Man have the Mariners and Twins been absolutely WORTHLESS the last 7 games. And now after this weekend while we're playing the Astros the Rays will be playing the Angels. Both schedules are pretty even now rest of the way. Really thought we'd be able to make some space the last 7 days but just didn't happen.
