I will go a different route, Robbie Alomar.  Switch hitter.  Very good at putting the ball in play, slick fielder, and had good pop when necessary.  Players with his skillset, much like Molitor, have value in the postseason.  And he is much better than what they have at 2nd base.

Since most went w/ pitching, I'll go a different route.. from Orioles WC era.. Nick Markakis. Would be perfect 3rd OF. Hays-Mullins-Markakis w/ Santander as DH/4th OF.

I'd also throw peak Manny out there as well.
