He's a LHP and his 2007 year was insanely good. I'm not snubbing my nose on 1997 Mussina but Bedard had better numbers across the boards peripheral-wise. ERA+, H/9, WHIP, FIP, HR/9, K/9. I think people forget how good Bedard was in 2007 because the team sucked.

To me, Frank, Palmeiro, Palmer, Mussina, Britton, Bautista and Jim Johnson are all good answers, but I love the Robbie Alomar answer earlier in this thread. He's the best I've ever seen at 2B. Hated when he wasn't on our team. Loved when he was. And I don't care about the spitting incident. It sucked, but bad things happen.
