It was mentioned on ESPN Sportscenter a few days back about the possibility of seeing 3 great ballplayers set records in one night. (Glavine / Rodriguez / Bonds). It didn't happen that day , but it happened today as two players set significant home run records.

Alex Rodriguez is the youngest player to reach the 500 milestone. It is also surprising , that when TBS began comparing how many home runs Bonds , Aaron , and Rodriguez had at 32 , how few home runs Bonds had hit at that age. That whole "late-age surge" really helped boost Bonds' HR numbers up...
