Free Stowers! RHP, Mountcastle on the bench, if the kid doesn't play today he's never going to.

He already started one game and PH.

Brandon Hyde told us after the last game Gunnar would be leading off, so as much as I want to see Westburg in front of Gunnar, this comes as no surprise.

Right, he said Gunnar will lead off against RHP. Not a surprise at all.

I like this lineup. Mounty needs a day. Tony back and DHing is good. Westy cleanup. Good defensive OF.

I have an inkling about Hays tonight. Think he's gonna have a good game.

Offensive explosion tonight.  I'm calling it.  Led by Hays and Mullins.  We're definitely due.

Can you dig it
Whooo-oooh
I can dig it, he can dig it

She can dig it, we can dig it
They can dig it, you can dig it
Oh, let's dig it
Can you dig it, baby

I can dig it, he can dig it
She can dig it, we can dig it
They can dig it, you can dig it
Oh, let's dig it

Can you dig it, baby

The quality of the lyrics in our pop music has deteriorated greatly over the last few decades.

I don’t know anything about the music itself, but these lyrics are inane.

What do you mean by last few decades?  That song is 56 years old.

Ha! No kidding? That’s not quite as old as I am. I must have been listening to different radio stations.

“silly” has no era, I guess…
