Over the season the Rays will be the biggest challenge to the O's.    They will fix their pitching as they always do and have a chance to get 3 great starters back for the second half of the season.

Springs is throwing

Baz was pushing to hard and lifted a Yandy Diaz weight.

Rasmussen is ahead of schedule for July/August return.

What is the greatest obstacle they face this season?

Apparently, the Yankees.

Its Early.   Soto and the offense seems to be great.  Lets get back to the Yankees later in the season and see how they hold up to injuries.

Last year, the Yankees had a cavalcade of calamity, with injuries and bad performance galore.
This did not displease me.

This year, it’s starting out that they have a surprising number of unexpected injuries, but they’re compensating quite well.

This does displease me.

I am quite confident that we have the better 40 man roster, but I’m not as confident that our assets will be used to best advantage. I’m still confident as well that we will win the series and the division handily.

But I’d much rather win by seven or eight games than by two.
