2 for 15 so far this week which includes a home run and 3 days of 0 fer's. He has definitely hit some sort of barrier here at the AAA/MLB level. He is doing well if judged for what would be considered the average minor league player. But obviously he, the Os, and the fans don't consider him the average minor league player. -
Josenberger, Bradfield, Etzel and Vasquez rank 2-5 in the Sally League in steals. Bowling Green (Tampa) has a kid named Chandler Simpson who’s pretty much lapped the field with 31 steals. Simpson stole 94 bases last year. That kid is hitting .370 with a .378 SLG, one extra base hit all year. But he ends up at 2B anyway.

Good example of the "imposter syndrome" phenomenon discussed in your other thread. Overall our bullpen is objectively good. Our ERA is #6 in MLB. Only the Yankees and Guardians are in a clear tier above us. Still, without multiple Felix/Cano types it feels like it can implode at any moment. It still can, but is no more likely than all but the most elite bullpens. -
He can stay in CF for me. His defense is solid. We have so many COF types and Mullins looks washed. I'd trade a bit of defense for the offensive production and roster flexibility. -

I would like to see Hays in right or left tonight. That hit to the right side is a good sign.
