OK, but hear me out, if you're going to K, do it against someone like Logan Gilbert. He had a poor third inning but he's otherwise been nails.

At least Gunnar made him work.  We were looking at a 7-8 pitch inning for a minute there.   Nice pitch on strike 3.   I know there’s this narrative that Gunner isn’t seeing it well right now etc. but that pitch was just about unhittable.

Well it was bound to happen but GH has officially hit the iceberg wall.

ICE cold.  Not because of the number of bats without a hit but because he can barely make contact.

He's seeing it out of the zone just fine, he's missing middle middle fastballs, though. (That one wasn't clearly).

Gunnar has missed a few down and in breaking balls that he normally clobbers. He’s in a funk. The great ones get out of it faster than others.

What I like about our team is we can still win even when Gunnar is striking out. Good starting pitching, and good performances from elsewhere in the lineup. O'Hearn, Santander, even Mullins to an extent, are picking up where Gunnar is leaving off.
