They are playing poorly and that’s the only reason we still have a good chance. My point the last day or so has been can we even win the three games that are likely necessary? I think the doomsday type feeling, at least for me, has little to do with those teams, and everything to do with how the Os look, ON THE FIELD. It’s just been so ugly. But hey, Westie and Urias in today’s Tides lineup does offer some glimmer of hope. I’m dubious how much Westburg is going to be able to help/how strong that hand is, but still having him out there over Rivera/Holliday almost has to be an upgrade. -
Should be a grand total of 4 possible games right? If you count today. Agree it is still odd phrasing. -
Rust is expected and Means was throwing in the high 80's with his fastball and we all felt like his loss was a harbinger of doom. If Rogers can locate his pitches, I don't care how hard he throws, we've been carved up by 82 MPH the last 2 nights. -
Maybe more? There aren’t that many more than a couple left! I mean yeah 3 is more than 2 but that’s odd phrasing.

On Sept. 19, 2023, the Rangers won a game. They were coming off four straight losses, and on this date, they showed up. They were 83-68 and went 7-4 over their last 11 games to get into the playoffs. Here's to hoping today we get off the schnide and get some momentum going. Stranger things have happened.
