Very encouraged to see Matusz throw Hall a 3-2 fastball. Good to see he's not overly in love with striking guys out. When you paint the black like that, it doesn't matter if your fastball's only 88-90mph.

Flanny says it could be a misconception that Luke has been streaky over the past few seasons.

C'mon Mike, just because the numbers look pretty close at the end of the year doesn't mean you can ignore the insanely hot and equally cold weeks of Luke's career.

Has been a different story this year though.
