You know, it may sound cheesy, but I really did lose a lot of respect for him on that faking incident. I always considered him to be a "gentleman of the game".

It didn't bother me that he got the base on an ump mistake. I don't expect anyone to correct the ump. What bothered me was that he continued the charade after the base had already been awarded, dancing around and letting the trainer treat his "injury".

Flopping ruined the World Cup for me, I don't want it to ruin baseball, too.

Let's give it up to Milwood. He stretched out his start by throwing 50 pitches the first 2 innings and then 44 the next 4 innings. Although the bullpen should be well rested with the day off and Bergie's complete game.
