Well, Peavy's no sure thing coming off a detached lat (IIRC), but with Buehrle, Danks and Floyd, they've got a pretty solid rotation. Chris Sale is a candidate for the back end, I believe.

I'm a big fan of Danks. I think he's a pretty good comp for Matusz.

hey not saying hes not going to be an 1/2 pitcher just waiting to see what he does this year. if he goes back to the pitcher with a 5 plus era or the one we saw at the end of the year where he finish with an under 3 era. i hope he grow into an ace type

Maybe a tick, but not a whole hell of a lot.

They're very similar pitchers, though. Both have good changeups and comparable command.

Danks is more of a contact / GB guy than Matusz is, I believe.

Maybe Britton will end up being a better Danks comp than Matusz. I just like the CU comp.

Actually, I read some analyst, maybe Law, that had Matusz rated higher than both Romero and Morrow. Morrow's K rates are unbelievable, but his walks will keep him down to Earth.
