I thought to myself, "We'll get hot and win a bunch of games, the other teams in the division will fade, and we'll steal the title in late September."

I think Matusz's problems are solely endurance/conditioning related. He was sitting at 88-90 in the first inning and at one point touched 91--now he's back down in 85-86. I don't think that sending him back down to Norfolk would be the worst idea.
