My view of it is the playoffs are such a crapshoot, I’d rather have as many good shots at it as possible. Also I really enjoy the summers of elite baseball we’ve seen the last two years. Just keep this going. -

You didn't use the word hate? You know, if you were a plus member you could edit out things like you using the word hate. Or are you trying to say that having hate for Cowser is somehow not the same as hating Cowser? -
Have been out of town in AZ all weekend so havnt been able to watch. I followed on game thread and game day and it seemed like a heck of a series. Go Birds!! Bring on the Yankees. I think we sweep. -

I didn't use the word hate. I said dislike. And just read this thread. Half the people here say he should be sat or even send back down. They poo poo anything he does well. It is really strange to me considering his rookie status and the flashes he has shown. He does things that show he can be elite. Of course he has his warts. He is a rookie after all. But he flashes. -
That isn't true, Luis Gil is, followed by Mason Miller, then Wilyer Abreu, then Cowser. It's not April, it's June. -
Yankee lineup is pretty soft, if you ask me. Obviously Judge and Soto are great. But after that, they have NO ONE with more than 12 at bats with an OPS over .781. The Orioles start about 5 guys every game with an OPS over .800. Their regulars at C/1B/2B/3B all have OPS of .643 or less. On our entire current roster we have one regular and one backup catcher with a lower OPS than that, while they start 4 guys like that pretty much every day. And we have guys with .664 or .684 OPSs and people complain here when a lineup comes out with them in it! Obviously their pitching is great. Best in MLB. (We are 2nd bestERA in MLB). And the way the rotation is falling we won't have our best against them. And they are the home team for this one. And Judge and Soto can do a ton of damage on their own despite the dropoff to to the rest of the lineup. It's going to be a tough series with two of the best teams in MLB. But I will be disappointed if we lose the series. We are good, they are good. Time to make a statement.
