Yeah, sorry if I'm coming on too strong. I just feel like people here came in this year with way-too-high expectations for Arrieta and now are over-reacting out of disappointment with extremely low overly-negative opinions and expectations. The truth lies in between: he'll eventually settle down as a middle of the rotation starter like AJ Burnett--or another comp. that Lucky Jim threw out there--Gil Meche.

I give the Ump a pass. That thing RA throws is probably has hard to the ump to track as it is for the batters. Just a crappy game tonight, but at least it was crappy because of the guy on the mound for the Mets not us throwing it away.

Tip of the hat to RA he is looking like a historically good year is his if he keeps it going.
