I didn't have an issue with it myself, he wants to use Soco before he goes back down for another starter. He could of went to Gregg there, it was one or the other.

I'm a big believer in going to a high-leverage guy earlier rather than later, when it's still close. If it was me I would've probably been bringing in someone like O'Day or Patton there (forget if a L or R was up) and let them throw their 1 out + a few outs in the next inning, and if it's still 4-0 then you bring in Soco. Either way the innings are going to add up pretty similarly. You have to throw 9.
