I thought it was foul, but on that zoom-in, it clearly hit the pole.

This is awful. Just awful. Jeffrey Maier in reverse, and the replay didn't help.

The umps didn't spend enough time looking at that **** or didn't look at the zoomed in view. It always pisses me off when fans at home sitting on their couches watching TV can see it, but whatever video the umps are looking at, they miss it.

Does anyone know what sort of camera angles + picture quality the umpires have access to? If they don't have the Blown-up shot in HD, there was no chance they would see what seemed to be a change in direction of the ball.

I would say that the ball ever so slightly change direction after nicking the pole. It should be 1-1.
