If there's any truth to that, it may indicate that DD convinced Angelos to dip into the $25MM MASN money he's been sitting on, instead of letting him buy another mansion somewhere.

He isn't swinging at balls, even the close ones, which is a big boost to his plate discipline and his overall effectiveness as a hitter.

He still won't be as valuable to us as he could be if he can't make contact with the baseball though.
