You seem to have forgotten this: After a fine 2010 for the O's (146 ERA+, .955 WHIP, 85 Ks and only 9 BBs in 65 innings), Uehara put up a 1.72 ERA (246 ERA+), .702 WHIP, 62 Ks and only 8 BBs in 47 innings. We then traded him at his then-career peak for two guys named Davis and Hunter. He continued to lower his ERA and WHIP and increase his ERA+ and K's with both Texas and Boston. The trend has been superb and continuous for several years.

How about this then: Uehara blows the save today and tomorrow, and the O's get him on the cheap in the offseason. Yes, I would vote for that.
