That's not correct. Ace is the best that team has to offer. Zack Greinke is one of the top pitchers in the league for example, but he's not the staff ace because he's not the Dodgers best pitcher.

Tillman is the ace by default. He's the toughest guy you can draw on the O's staff.

Ace definitely has a different definition than the way you are using it.... But I agree he is our number one.
