I'm actually glad he didn't throw to third. Wouldn't have gotten him and I don't trust him to make an accurate throw there.

Frankly, I am kind of glad he didn't throw it to 3rd. With the way he's pitched this year, he would have thrown it into the Jays' dugout.

At some point the team needs to just admit that Ubaldo's career is pretty much over. He can't even do basic mop up duty.

The ump has a shallow strike zone,which is not good. Ubaldo needs all the help he can get.

And I probably agree with that to an extent... but him not backing up the throw is not excusable... those runners dont move up if he does.
