Because Buck doesn't post here. I think Buck wants Wieters back in the worst way. I won't be surprised to see us make a serious bid for him, and I'm almost positive he'll get a QO even if he doesn't have a great season once he returns.

I agree Buck does NOT LIKE the idea of Weiters going to the MFY and I would much rather throw $$$ at Weiters then Davis.

I cannot remember, but how many ST games did Wieters play in this year?

Wieters played 7 spring training games and went 0-for-23 with a walk.

Almost all of those games were as the DH. He only played 6 innings at catcher.

Listening to Buck on the pre game presser and he said MW has probably had more AB's than anyone on the team, with all the time he spent in extended ST. I want to see this guy healthy and be ready to come back the first day he is eligible.
