Love it when this thread gets bumped.  What a great feeling.

Yankees were leading 3-1 in the 9th, two outs and nobody on base. And lost 5-3. That has to really stick in their craw. They also had a brain fart on the bases (by Volpe) that cost them a run early in the game. Yankees now 5-15 in their last 20, and if they don't turn things around before the AS break I have to believe Boone is a dead man walking.

I'd hate to see that.  He's been a purveyor of ineptitude and disappointing finishes since he's taken that job, it'd be a shame to see them make a move.

You hate to see a good team take a 3-1 lead at home into the 9th and then get 2 outs and 2 strikes on the batter only to implode and lose the game.
