We might have been in on it. With the Red Sox trade going down. We have no middle IF prospects. Marin and Wilkerson are fringy at best.

That's my feeling on it. The O's need to save what little gunpowder they have in the minors. Trumbo's a nice player but not special, and I'd be cautious about getting another player who strikes out at the rate he does.
