Whoever is the scout that is signing these cuban guys should be given some money and see what he can do in the Carribean. These Cuban players have been really great for our system. We almost have enough to have a Cuban prospect list.

Miranda settled down after a shaky 1st inning.

He left the game with 1 out in the 7th inning, and a runner on 1st base. The reliever (Jason Stoffel) allowed the inherited runner to score.

So is this guy worth getting excited about? I don't mean TOR guy, but does he have a decent chance to be a 3/4 guy, or at least a Miguel Gonzalez? Or are we talking more Tyler Wilson?

Sounds like my opinion of Tyler Wilson is higher than yours.

Fangraphs had a short write up on Miranda today.

Oh man the slider in that gif is filthy.

Also, I can totally see the Sabathia comparisons: Miranda has a similar motion, starting with bringing the front leg up high and back and ending with a big arm circle.
