I think it might be a tease that they are working on plans to improve the sound system at the stadium. But not something i'm losing sleep over either way. -

All I know is that the people in charge picked McKenna, and I'm reasonably sure they also know that the marginal value of one player in the the 26th roster spot vs. another is little bits of a win hidden down in the noise floor. -

Jackson had 3 hits last night. He had some bad luck early with expanded strike zones, etc. that started to play on his mind. If we get an extra year of control by waiting a month I'm all for it. It's not like Urias is hitting. Mateo has been solid and in the field I am very comfortable with him - especially at second. Urias right now may have a slightly higher floor, but the young players have way higher ceilings. If we can get Holliday going by mid summer, the team reaches another level. -

Next to Adley being given a lifetime contract and Holliday has a lifetime deal as well 🤣 -
I think Hyde will only play Kjerstad at DH or RF. O’Hearn will play vs RHP and Mountcastle, Santander and Adley will play vs LHP. So the only options are (a) to sit Santander or Mountcastle for Kjerstad tonight, or (b) sit McCann for Kjerstad tomorrow (with Adley catching and Heston DH).
