Off to bed...I have seen this one too many times...clobber their pitcher in first but not enough..give it all back and more and then their pitcher shuts us down the rest of the game...this team is just very frustrating...this whole season has just been really unenjoyable.

Well, those things are historically very true. He was injured for parts of 5 straight years and he is the poster child for 1100 then 600 then 1100 OPS months. And again, I wanted to sign him. I thought he'd be very good this year, but I didn't even know he was capable of putting up numbers like he has put up this year.

I would have signed him, it would have been a mistake. I did not know he would peak at age 35. No one does without PEDS. No one. ever. So I could never have guessed this.
