Having Cruz would be worth at least five more wins this year, which would put the team in the playoffs, despite all the bad SP. It's not like the Orioles had dominant SP anytime during the post-2012 renaissance.

Those were the 5 best hitters I've seen Matusz pitch (outside of spring training) since his really good Aug/Sep as a starter years ago.

I was in the Yankee Stadium bleachers in September of 2009 when Matusz threw 7 innings of 1-run ball, and Brian Roberts hit a grand-slam home run in the 1st inning.
