I understand the reason behind the Garcia "role" on this team, I really do. I just don't think this team has that luxury of stashing a roster spot with a guy who can't help us.

Yes, if you are going to go out and trade a legit prospect for Parra, then you should follow through and act like a contender. Sending down Givens for Garcia does not help you in a pennant race. By inclination I am a DD supporter, but that move made no sense.
