John Thompson Sr talked about this, when he was on 980.

He said, he used to lecture his players, all the time.

#1. Hardly anybody actually makes it from college to the Pros, to be prepare.

#2. Get you somebody you can trust to handle your money, and keep it to one car, one house, and one gold chain.

#3. Watch for the entourage and users, they are there for one thing, a free ride, if the money was gone, so would they be.

Now we know that the Orioles' front office can lowball him when he becomes eligible for free agency in 2021.

Leverage.

There is no way that he will part with that car, which is what he would feel the need to do if he ever left the Orioles to sign with another team ...... unless it was the San Francisco Giants.
