Last 3 year average for John Danks while playing in AL Central (prior to 2016):

4.75 FIP

1.389 WHIP

1.4 HR/9

2.8 BB/9

6.0 SO/9

4.73 ERA

6 IP/S

Perhaps biggest issue, fastball velocity:

2013: 89.3 avg, 92.4 max

2014: 88.5 avg, 92.2 max

2015: 89.4 avg, 93.2 max

2016: 87.2 avg, 89.8 max

He's lost a few mph off his max and a couple off his average velocity. This is the same issue with his cutter and 2 seamer.

I mean he's a lefty and he's probably better than Gallardo (snark), but I don't see any reason why we'd want him this season.
