They're just counting in Base-3, which actually makes sense for innings...

Meanwhile the lead is down from 5 to 4...

EDIT: Now it's down from 5 to 3... too bad about the wimps who ran off and left ;-)

No they aren't. If they counted in base 3, Guthrie would have pitched 11.2 innings.

Baseball is a funny game. Nick and Mora both crunched their balls yet they make outs. Huff gets sawed off and gets a double. Good comeback here by the boys. They definitely battle.

Somebody must have torn the Q section out of their dictionary, because they don't know the meaning of the word quit!

Ellsbury was going to 2B, apparantly Boston was going to concede the run. The Sox announcers were surprised they held him.

It looked to me like he decided to go to 2b when he saw Huff hold up. Huff was barely around 3b when Ellsbury got the ball, he'd have been out by a country mile with any kind of decent throw home. Ok, maybe a city mile.. but he still didn't have a shot to make it from what I saw.
