I thought it may make sense to play Gentry  over Santander if they were insistent on getting CD back in the lineup.  Santander will get a lot of starts in RF against lefties. Actually, I may play Gentry in center, Valencia in right and Jones DH to give his legs a breather on this carpet.

Why is Davis hitting in front of Valencia?  Better yet, why is he even in the lineup?  Gentry earned a spot playing.

I hope Santander keeps hitting so the Orioles can get rid of Rasmus. I have already heard Buck praise his defense. People were wondering if he was going to be a butcher in the outfield. I am glad they were wrong.

If .182/.250/.333 is "hitting", I hope it's not what Santander continues to do.

I agree that the results aren't there, but I'm very impressed with his approach at the plate.   I think he'll be fine given some more playing time.

Santander seems a lot more comfortable hitting against RHP.

I think Schoop is pressing in the 3 spot. Move Beckham up to #2, Schoop to #6. Davis any higher than 9 is too high.

His double in the bottom of the 8th inning last night could have given the Orioles the lead.

I am generally conservative in terms of sending a runner home with nobody out if the play is even remotely close, but in this case (very late in the game, and with runs at a premium), I think that I would have sent him. The Blue Jays' outfielder stumbled and had to brace himself against the wall in right-field before he was able to turn back around and get the ball back to the infield, so the runner (Santander) probably would have made it.
