This is the type of game, after what happened last night, that I think they just have to let Liz go and if he gives up 8-9 runs over six innings, so be it. You might have to give this game up today to give yourself a chance to win tomorrow and the day after.

I agree with this, except his pitch count is going to be so high he'll be lucky to get through the fifth.

He's making some great pitches... just not all the time... he's doing some things that make me think he can turn out to be a smart pitcher, he just can't repeat everything properly all the time...

You want him to go as far as he can... every little bit helps...
