CD 2.0 Monday

0 for 3, 3 strikeouts, hit by pitch

CD 2.0 so far

4 games

2 for 15 (.133)

2 walks (one intentional), 6 strikeouts, 1 sac fly

Onbase % .263

Slugging %  .400

OPS .663

He has struck out in 25 consecutive games, 12 short of Aaron Judge's major league record

CD 2.0 still has a significantly higher OPS than the pre-rest version, somehow.

Meet the new Davis, same as the old Davis.  Maybe Davis can go for the strikeout record despite missing all these games.

I'm confident he has the ability and the wherewithal to break the record if he buckles down and sets his mind to it.  After all it is a record, right?

Scary stat of the day,in the last 30 days in games played Davis has more RBI's then Schoop or Mancini.Maybe more Orioles but did not check. Also better average and  OBP with runners in scoring position then either of them.

That is bad considering not only that Davis has been awful but he even missed a week!

Should hang a banner on the warehouse the same as when Ripken broke the consecutive games streak.

They should play another one bites the dust after every strike out.  And show Boo signs when he comes up to get the crowd into it.
