Can DL Smith and add Chandler Shepard (pitcher), who is there on the Taxi Squad. Option Hess, call up Stewart (or add Mason Williams to the 40 and call him up) for Thursday.

That seems the most likely option. Biggest issue with getting a DJ Stewart to San Diego is getting the flight booked. It would probably take at least one or two connections, and hoping you avoid any flight delays.

Yep. Thought he might want the ball from his first pitch. He didn't and promptly drilled the guy on the second pitch.
